Antes de escribir tu opinion essay
Gestión del tiempo
Tic, tac…
|---|---|
| Do you think…? | Do you think that social activities and sports are important for mental health? Give reasons. |
| Explain your view. | It is always better to tell the truth than to lie. Explain your view. |
| Do you agree? | Global warming is a myth. Do you agree? Why or why not? |
| To what extent do you agree? | Technology makes communication easier, but it reduces personal contact. To what extent do you agree? |
| What is your opinion about…? | What is your opinion about eco-friendly products? Are they an urgent need or just a passing fashion? |
| What do you think of…? | What do you think of wearable technology? Has it got any future in your opinion? |
| Is it possible to…? Give reasons. | Is it possible to reduce the use of plastics? Give reasons. |
| Give reasons and examples from your own experience. | Is Artificial Intelligence helping or hurting society? Explain your view and give examples from your own experience. |
¡Ojo!

Do you think that social activities and sports are important for mental health? Give reasons.
IntroducciónNowadays, many teenagers spend most of their free time in front of a screen. In my opinion, social activities and sports are essential for our mental health, and there are several reasons for this.
Desarrollo 1Firstly, doing sport helps us to reduce stress. For example, going for a run after a long day of studying clears our mind and improves our mood. In addition, regular exercise helps us to sleep better, which is key to feeling well.
Desarrollo 2Secondly, social activities prevent loneliness. Joining a choir, a volunteering group or a football team allows people to meet others who share their interests. As a result, they feel part of a community and are less likely to feel isolated.
Desarrollo 3Finally, both sports and social activities build self-confidence. To illustrate, when a shy student starts playing in a team, they gradually become more confident and begin to speak up in other situations, such as in class.
ConclusiónTo sum up, I strongly believe that sport and social life are not just hobbies but real tools to protect our mental health. Therefore, schools and families should encourage young people to take part in them.

Escribir a mano
¡No, gracias!
|---|---|
| No identificar el tipo de redacción que te piden: opinion, descriptive o for and against.
| No dividir el ensayo en párrafos. | Sigue la plantilla de 5 párrafos. |

Por expresiones como Do you think…?, Explain your view, Do you agree?, To what extent do you agree? o What is your opinion about…?.
However, this is not necessarily the case.
¿Puedo usar siempre «I think»?
Mejor no repetirlo. Alterna con In my opinion, From my point of view, I strongly believe o, en nivel avanzado, I am convinced that y As far as I'm concerned.
