We are committed to HYBRID CLASSES, where distance learning meets traditional teaching.
Since the beginning of the health crisis in March 2020, we have adapted to the new situation and have decided to offer our courses through Zoom, a platform that we love and that allows us to keep the quality of our courses high, as our students’ opinions attest.
Since the 2020-2021 academic year and up to the present, at La llibreta we are committed to the methodology of hybrid classes, and we are fully prepared for this new challenge.
It is a class format in which classes are taught with face-to-face and virtual students at the same time.
How does it work?
In any of our classes, a maximum of 12 people can attend in person, and those who wish can choose to connect through Zoom.
The class will be transmitted through an artificial intelligence camera that turns distance classes into an authentic experience more real than ever. This is a very modern, high-definition technology that guarantees the best quality of both audio and video. Moreover, for those who attend remotely, it will not only be possible to see and hear the teacher, but also all the people participating in the class. In terms of technology, students do not need to learn anything new, just how to use Zoom in case they are not familiar with it yet. Our teachers carry out work dynamics that allow the participation and interaction of both on-site and remote students. In practice, the virtual environment is a real extension of the face-to-face classroom.

What are the advantages?
The main contribution is that it brings us closer to the future. Thanks to this classroom format, we are becoming familiar with the distance education system, which will remain in place even after the pandemic is over.
Among the main benefits of the hybrid modality, we have:
- Flexibility: it allows the use of methods and resources typical of both traditional and distance learning.
- Increased interaction among students. By being able to meet face-to-face and interact with those attending from home, a stronger bond is established between students compared to classes that are 100% online.
- It prepares students to face a model of education that has been very popular lately in universities.
- Reduction of transportation costs.
- Saving time in commuting between home/work – La llibreta. In this way, this time can be used for study.
