Enrollment Rules

1. By enrolling at La Llibreta, you agree to our work protocol, thereby avoiding misunderstandings.
2. If you pay the registration fee, it is refundable at the end of the course or when you unregister, provided you comply with our payment rules.

Payment Rules

Monthly Payment Courses

1. There is a refundable registration fee of €50, except for the Spanish courses provided by Taronja School, which have a fee of €39.
2. The amount is always the same regardless of the number of classes held (except for the month of enrollment in the course, where you will pay a proportional part).
3. Fees are collected by direct debit. It is essential to be up-to-date with payments to attend classes.
4. Direct debit receipts returned by the bank will incur an extra charge of €5.75 for the bank’s commission, or €10 will be withheld from the registration fee, which will not be refunded.

Intensive Courses

1. Intensive courses must be paid at the beginning unless specified by the academy that they can be paid in installments.
2. Paying the reservation fee commits you to the payment of the second installment.
3. Non-attendance does not entitle you to a refund of the course fee.
4. Payment can be made through the website, by bank transfer, or in cash or card at the academy.
5. Intensive courses conducted by Taronja are subject to their internal rules.

Courses Requiring a Confirmation Letter for a Visa

1. At least half of the total course fee must be paid.
2. If the visa is denied, the academy will refund the amount paid minus administration fees of €100.

Private Lessons

1. Private lessons must be paid in advance as a refundable deposit.

Attendance and Cancellations

Monthly Payment Courses

1. Withdrawals must be communicated to the academy at least 7 days before the end of the current month. Otherwise, the registration fee/deposit will be forfeited.
2. Missed classes are not recoverable, except for review classes, which can be made up only if the absence is for a justified reason and only when there is available space in a group that is not full.

Courses Requiring a Confirmation Letter for a Visa

1. In case the visa is denied, the academy will refund the amount paid minus administration fees of €100.

Private Lessons

1. Private lessons must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged.
2. To cancel, you must notify the center during public service hours: Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1 pm and from 4 pm to 8 pm. If the class is on a Monday or after a holiday, it must be canceled on the last working day before the class, before the end of public service hours.

For All Courses

1. If a student is unable to attend a class, they are requested to notify the center.
2. Non-attendance does not entitle you to a refund of the course fee.

Materials

1. For language courses that require a book, it is the student’s responsibility. The academy can order the books upon payment. Some intensive courses include the book in the price.
2. Conversation classes do not require a book, and the materials are provided free of charge.
3. Valencian courses: students will pay for the book if there is one, or for the printing of the dossier plus any additional photocopies distributed in class, as well as access to the virtual classroom with over 75 hours of extra materials.
4. Support classes for school subjects: materials will be provided free of charge.
5. Students in PAU, Degree, +25, PCE programs will pay €10 per subject for access to the virtual classroom and €20 for printed materials and access to the virtual classroom.

Calendar

1. Start and end of courses: Courses begin and end according to the dates specified in the course information and on La Llibreta’s website. Students should be aware of these dates to avoid missing any classes.
2. Holidays and vacations: La Llibreta will follow the official calendar of public holidays and school vacations. These dates will be informed at the start of the course and will also be available in our virtual classroom.
3. Registration deadlines: The deadlines for course registration will be specified in the course information and on the website. Students are advised to register in advance to secure their place on the desired course.

Exceptionality and Hybrid Format

In the event that the center needs to substantially reduce the number of students in its in-person classes or if we have to close due to reasons beyond our control (due to unforseen circumstances), all classes will switch to an online format without any change in their price, nor will there be any additional compensation for the circumstances.

In exchange, we guarantee that the classes will have all the necessary technological and professional resources to maintain the same quality.

Furthermore, by participating in hybrid format classes, you agree that we may record your image and voice if you activate the camera and microphone. These recordings will be used exclusively for educational purposes and will not be used for promotional activities.

Refund of Registration Fee

1. The full registration fee (or the proportional part in case of penalties) will be refunded via bank transfer.
2. If a student decides not to enroll after attending a free trial class with no obligation, La Llibreta commits to refunding the registration fee.
3. If the course payment is set up as a direct debit, the registration fee will be refunded within 60 days after the notification of class cancellation has been made via bank transfer (with a copy to the email).
4. The registration fee will not be refunded in case of dropping out of a Valencian course before its completion.

General Regulations

1. The center reserves the right to modify these regulations, providing prior notice to its clients one month before the new regulations take effect.
2. Mobile phones must be silenced during class. Students are requested to answer only urgent calls and, in such cases, should leave the classroom to attend the call.
3. Enrolling at the center implies acceptance and compliance with all the points expressed in these regulations.
